Sediment release into Athabasca River Sediment anticipated to arrive in Athabasca later this week The Aspen Regional Water Services Commission (ARWSC) in conjunction with Alberta Sustainable Resource Development and Alberta Health continue to monitor the sediment release into the Athabasca River from a decommissioned mine near Hinton.

Community Adult Learning Program

Community Adult Learning Program Call for Applications

The Alberta Ministry of Advanced Education is inviting eligible organizations to apply for ongoing Community Adult Learning Program grant funding. Eligible organizations located in the Athabasca County and interested in serving the Town of Athabasca may apply.

 

The Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) provides funding and other supports to 130 community-based organizations to facilitate part-time, primarily non-formal, adult learning opportunities in more than 500 communities across Alberta.
