Toilet Rebate Program

Town residents can reduce their water usage and earn a $50 rebate from the Town by replacing older, less efficient toilets with new, low flow models.

Rebate application forms for single-family households are available from the Town Office. Applicants must replace a 13+ litre toilet with a six litre toilet in their residence located in the Town of Athabasca. The original sales receipt for the new fixture must accompany the application form.

In addition to the applicant’s name, installation address, contact information and Town utility account number, applicants must provide the make, model and model number of the new toilet, plus the purchase location and purchase date.

Installation details are also requested, including the date of installation and whether the fixture was self-installed or installed by a service person.

Please note that the Town is not responsible for the installation or functioning of toilets.

Questions regarding the Town of Athabasca Residential Toilet Replacement Program can be directed to the Town Office.
