The Town sometimes receives requests to change the mailing address for Tax Notices. However, this can only be done by contacting Land Titles at Service Alberta and must be done by the owner.

Town of Athabasca Tax Notices are sent out the first or second week of May. Tax levies are due by June 30.

Area residents who receive a Tax Notice from the County of Athabasca should note that the tax due date for County taxes is different than for Town taxes. Please check with the County for the date that County taxes are due: (780) 675-2273
