2013 Audited Financial Statement, Town of Athabasca
The Town of Athabasca 2013 Audited Financial Statement is available for review on the Town website. The statement represents the financial position of the Town of Athabasca at December 31, 2013.
The financial performance and cash flows for the year are included. Also included are comparison figures for the year 2012.
The first financial report in the statement, the Consolidated Statement of Financial Position, provides detailed information regarding the assets and liabilities held by the Town at December 31 for each of 2013 and 2012. A summary of this information is as follows:
Total Financial Assets for 2013 were $6,658,041, compared to $6,008,395 for 2012.
Financial Liabilities for 2013 were $2,979,376, compared to $3,455,326 for 2012.
Net Financial Assets for 2013 were $3,678,665, compared to $2,553,069 for 2012.
Non-Financial Assets for 2013 were $23,598,528, compared to $23,566,199 for 2012.
Accumulated Surplus for 2013 was $27,277,193, compared to $26,119,268 for 2012.
